Practice ECGs

Practice ECG 3

This is another junctional rhythm with retrograde P waves. The P waves appear to be in front of the QRS complexes in beats 1 and 2, and from 9 to the end. Beats 3, 4, and 5 appear to have P waves after the QRS complexes. Finally, beats 6, 7, and 8 do not have clear Ps.

The area causing antegrade block of the conduction appears to go through some changes during this ECG, possibly because of ischemia. This is evidenced by the ST depressions and T abnormalities that develop in the beats with P waves found in the QRS-ST area (II, III, aVF, V2 to V6).

Note also that there is aberrancy in the beats with the P wave in the QRS complex. This appears in the ninth beat in V1 to V3.
